Dust collection system is almost perfect. There is a big cyclone with air filter. As he is using
3HP motor the sunction force is quite strong. The ventilation fan is available. Because of
basement air conditioner is working 24 hours to avoid the rust for his machines. Handmade
air filter is also available to collect micron dust.

I have visited Stuart san' workshop which is located in Big apple Shinjyuku. As he
is explaining in his web site it is a like dungeon. We came down narrow ladder and
arrived the basement. It is 7mx 4m and not small. However there are so many machines.

He has already introduced Oneway wheel balancing system. I have checked
the vibration of his stone and found it is quite smooth. I appreciate his effort.
He bought grinder from Siga Nice.

Again this is also handmade. It looks like copy of Jamieson. He produces many vase.

There are two ovens. One is upto 1200 deg. and another one is upto 600 deg.
the third one is for small tools.

He bought used lathe from auction in USA and the shipping cost to Japan was
about 40k yen. The stand is of course handmade steel. The welding is well
done and it is so firm. There is sandbox underneath of the lathe. There is
very interesting and useful device. Please watch carefully the picture below
. There is a slope of blockboard from back to front side of the lathe.
The reason of this slope is to collect wood scrap of back side of lathe.
To acheve this convenient device the stand of lathe should be slim.
I am going to study to import this system to my workshop.

At first all handmade band saw except two wheels supprised us very much. His American
friend's band saw had been damaged by accident so he got two wheels from his friend
and produced his own designed band saw. The table is big enough for woodworking.
Right hand below picture is the saw only for straight cut. The name is Big Blue.
